Who is responsible

ASGONNY IDENTITY is operated by Vladyslav Yermak, who is responsible for the personal data described in this policy. Privacy questions and requests may be sent to support@asgonny.com.

Data we collect

We collect information you provide, information required to operate your account, and limited technical information needed for security.

• Account data, including your email address, user ID, username, and authentication information.
• Profile data, including your display name, headline, biography, avatar, links, custom buttons, profile tabs, and NOW status.
• Location data, including a location label and coordinates, only when you choose to provide them or allow your browser to use your location. Automatic location uses your coordinates to identify a readable city and country.
• Preferences such as profile theme, avatar shape, visibility, and access settings.
• Technical and security data such as session information, timestamps, and pseudonymous records used to limit repeated profile-code attempts.
• Safety-report data, including the reported profile or link, selected reason, optional details and email, pseudonymous anti-abuse information, review status, and moderation actions.
• Moderation-appeal data, including your account email, profile username, appeal statement, review status, and the final decision.
• Context-request data provided by visitors: name, request message, chosen reply contact, optional preferred date, receiving Context page, timestamp and processing status. A pseudonymous network fingerprint is used to limit spam; it is not shown to the profile owner.

How we use data

We use personal data only for specific operational and safety purposes.

• Create, authenticate, maintain, and delete your account.
• Save, publish, and share your profile according to the visibility you choose.
• Deliver account confirmation, password recovery, and security emails.
• Deliver a visitor's Context request privately to the selected profile owner so they can review it and respond through the contact provided. These requests are not published on the profile.
• Protect profiles, prevent abuse, troubleshoot problems, and maintain reliability.
• Receive and assess safety reports, restrict prohibited links or profiles, document moderation decisions, and respond to review requests.
• Comply with applicable law and enforce the Terms of Use.

Legal bases

Where data-protection law requires a legal basis, we process data to perform our agreement with you, based on our legitimate interests in operating and securing the service, with your consent for optional device features such as location, and where necessary to comply with legal obligations.

You may withdraw consent for optional processing at any time, without affecting processing that already occurred lawfully.

What profile visitors can see

Information shown on a public profile can be viewed, copied, and shared by anyone with the profile link. Private profiles hide their content. Code-protected profiles reveal content only after a visitor enters the correct code, but no access method can guarantee that an authorised visitor will not copy or share what they see.

Your email address and precise coordinates are not displayed on the public profile unless you independently place them in visible profile content.

Service providers

We use service providers to run ASGONNY IDENTITY, including Cloudflare for hosting, database and file infrastructure, Supabase for account authentication, Resend for transactional email delivery, and OpenStreetMap's Nominatim service to identify a city and country from a location you enter or coordinates you choose to provide. They process data under their own security and privacy commitments and only as needed to provide their services to us.

Cloudflare may also provide security and anti-bot checks that process limited device and network information to distinguish legitimate users from automated abuse.

We do not sell personal data and do not share it for third-party behavioural advertising.

International processing

Because ASGONNY IDENTITY and its providers operate internationally, data may be processed in countries other than the one where you live. Where required, we rely on recognised safeguards for international transfers.

Retention and deletion

We generally keep account and profile data while your account is active. When you delete your account, we remove the profile record, avatar, and authentication account from active systems. Limited information may remain temporarily in provider backups, security records, or where retention is required by law.

Safety reports, appeals, and moderation records may be retained after profile deletion when reasonably necessary to protect people, prevent repeated abuse, resolve disputes, or comply with legal obligations. We limit the information kept for those purposes.

Context requests remain in the receiving owner's inbox until the owner deletes them or deletes their account. Owners can export their inbox with their account data. Visitors can ask the owner or support@asgonny.com to remove a request. An owner may keep a separate copy or conversation outside ASGONNY after responding.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a portable copy of personal data, and to complain to a data-protection authority.

• Edit most profile information directly in your account.
• Change profile visibility or remove optional location information.
• Delete your account through account settings.
• Contact support@asgonny.com for a privacy request that cannot be completed in the product.

Security and changes

We use technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal data. No online service can promise absolute security, so use a unique password and keep profile access codes private.

We may update this policy as ASGONNY IDENTITY changes. The effective date above will show when the latest version applies, and material changes may also be communicated through the service.
